So I need a new back tire for the Hurricane, and maybe even both to keep them matched. I went to one of the big bike shops in town to see what was available. Apparently, these old Hurricanes have some oddball tire sizes that are tough to find today. All the guy could dig up was Dunlop bias plys.

Any of you other Hurricaners have trouble finding tires? I'd like to get something reasonably agressive and sticky, but also good for wet pavement. Any recommendations?

Check the older posts. There was a big debate about changing from bias-ply to radial tires, or keeping bias-ply. If you want to keep bias-ply, look into Metzeler tires. I have them on my old Suzuki, and they handle great.
