So I did a search on the flapper MOD and read EVERY post that came up. Theres a lot of "yes it's worth it" and a lot of "it doesnt do anything".
Is there any proof to back up this theory; ie:dyno chart of a before and after?
So lets see what everyone thinks.

just test it for yourself. takes 2 minutes. just unplug the vacuum hose that runs to it. this will leave it in the open position and give you the exact same effect as removing it. if you cannot tell a difference, just plug it back in and everything will be stock again.

I know, but does anyone really know for sure if it actually gives you any extra punch????
I guess the only way to find out is to dyno it.....

Good job MgA but I can't see exactly where this hose is. Do you get to it from the front of the bike and is it easy to find?

I was able to access the hose from the left side of the bike with out taking off any plastics. You can see the vacuum diaphragm module, or what ever it is called, from the front of the bike. It is brass colored, located toward the right, while looking from the front and behind the flapper door which will be open above the radiator. I pulled the vacuum hose off the diaphragm, pushed a small screw that fits tight in the hose then I zipped tied it to another hose that was also easy to access with the side plastic still installed.

The only bad thing, if you consider it bad, is that I can’t tell it improved anything. I will reinstall it to see if anything changes for the worse when I get more time.
