ORIGINAL: seldon929rr YEAH IT RUNS FINE I THINK IT'S FROM THE PIPE WITH NO POWER COMMANDER SO IT IS RUNNING PRETTY RICH ANYBODY KNOW WHERE TO GET A CHEAP 929 POWER COMMANDER? A pipe on a bike with no powercommander will make a bike run leaner, not richer. The powercommander adds fuel with maps set for the various pipes.

I've had my bike for three days now, but the fuel light comes on at about 90 miles. I have been riding it pretty hard, but does it sound like something is wrong? I have a power comander, scotts damper, full miocron exhuast, ohlins suspension, and linderman forks. The Bike only has 9000 miles on it. Does anyone think there is a problem with it running to rich?

First thing you can try is re-load the proper map file to the PC (full micron map) like Weeble1 said, and see if there is any change at all. Could be the previous owner manually changed the map and has it using way too much fuel. Also, has the gearing been changed? When you say you are riding hard, are you at WOT alot and/or in high rpm's alot? If you are really riding it that hard it is possible that you are just burning that much more. But re-map the PC before anything else. Good luck, congrats on the new bike, and let us know what happens!

The gearing is down one tooth on the front sprocket. I am also used to riding 600cc bikes so I have been keeping the revs a litlle higher than I should. The previous owner said he had it professionally mapped, but I plan on having it redone in the next few weeks. Ill keep post the results. Thanks for the responses
