my '01 Honda CBR 929 gets about 145-160miles before the fuel light comes on. it has a powercommander micron pipe k&n airfilter.I think you might have a problem......does it still run good? It must be awfully rich.

Thats nuts if you guys are getting 165 miles before reserve. The best I get is around 120 before the light! 110 miles is average for me.

PC3, 2 Bros. bolt-on, BMC street filter.

I get about 140 give or take before the light comes on, but then again I am 270+ lbs. (I almost have a six pack, so I'm not too fat). I'm glad other guys are getting similar miles....I was afraid for a little while!

Around town I typically get 130-140, fast highway 80+ cruising with traffic I have gotten 180. I figured I average around 33-45 depending on my take offs, stop and go, etc...

I haven't measured how many miles I get out of a tank but I have calculated MPG between fill ups. I got around 35 the other day and that was riding pretty aggressive. I'm geared +5 so my mileage will be down a little from others with closer to stock gearing. my speedohealer made a world of difference.

Generally, 35 mpg on the highway is not unreasonable according to what I've heard. I've never checked mine.

You would think a vehicle weighing only 400 pounds ought to cruise pretty cheap, but you crank these mondo-big pistons at 5500 rpm and you're gonna suck some fuel no matter what.
