FIRST TIME POST. I 'AM A BIT OF CCT EXPERT AND I LOVE TOO RECK THEM.
PEOPLE DON'T LET RATTEL GET TOO BAD IT WILL COST YOU.
WAITING TOO LONG REPLACE TOP CCT CAUSES BAD DAMAGE TO BOTTOM
CCT AND CHAIN. I WAITED TOO LONG ON THIRD TOP CCT REPLACEMENT DAMAGED BOTTOM
CCT AND JUMPED ONE TOOTH. TO REPLACE BROKEN BOTTOM CCT + ALL BROKEN PARTS WELL OVER 2000K
SUCKED BIG TIME NO BIKE NO RIDE YOU MUST PAY TOO PLAY
*****KEEP TOP CCT IN GOOD SHAPE********

IF STILL RATTELING AFTER NEW TOP CCT CHANCE LOWER CCT HAS HAD IT TAKE CARE.

Tell me about the lower CCT, how do you check it and how hard is it to change

The lower CCT is located on the bottom end of the cam chain, same function as the top CCT.
As for how to check it... when it's too worn out it rattles like the top end tensioner, when it breaks, it hold the main tension on the cam chain allowing it to jump the teeth on top sprocket.
The bad news is you've got to pull the engine and split the bottom end to get at it.

Make sure you don't make this mistake.... when my mechanic took the cam chain out, the lower CCT slipped back into the proper position. Once he got down to the CCT, it "looked" OK but it was actually broken....costly mistake!

If you go into the engine to check it, make sure you replace it.
