I can change gears no problem from 4th to 5th to 6th when bike is not under pressure..ie below 10 grand...
but pusing hard it will not select 5 or 6 ...?
Also when its in 6 th you can still click the selector up as if there was another gear.. This is a track bike brought second hand and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what it could be and how much to fix..

Well as far as I know shifting without the clutch will not work when you have a load on it or up in the R's. Without the clutch you have to lay off the throttle to get it in. With the clutch you don't have to lay off the throttle.
