JETS??? DO you need a FAA license to have that?? J/K!!!
If your bike is running poorly at low RPM..then yes..
When you buy a jet kit which is normally $120 or so..you are not really buying the parts. What you are paying for a the PROPER parts and research time.
The parts alone ar probally only $30 per carb ( with the needles, clips, jets, ect...)

Directions with kit will let you know what to do with the idle jets. Normally they are not replaceable -- only adjustable via a teeny screw that's a pain to get to.

well I was running like SH*T on the lower end but when i put the stock needles with the Jets it fix it right up....... Im going to call Erion Racing to find out why that could be. when i put them in i fallow the manual on how to install them to the T but the needles seem to let too much gas in at lower rpms but the stock needledont. I will be messing with it the next coupld of days. The next thing i have to fig out is y my throttle is sticking and why it is backfireing.

Thanks for the input

What carbs are you running? The last carbed bike I jetted had mikunis (sp?) and the low range (idle to 2500 rpm) was controlled by the idle circuit. After that the needle and replacement jets took over. Mine ran like sh!t also because I had the stoopid idea that I had to use the BIG jets. Once I realized the skinnier needle worked better with the smaller jets, my bike ran great. I ended up with a smaller jet than stock -- the needle is the thing -- smaller lets more gas flow with smaller jet = great mixing of gas and air.

My hunch is you're probably running very rich off idle. A lot of trial and error to get it just right. When you get it close, have it dyno'd with an air/fuel meter to make sure you don't hole a piston by being too lean.
