I have a 99 f4 that won't start. The battery was new last year, and is still holding juice. But the fuel pump does not turn on when i turn the key. i replaced the pump, and the first time i turned the key it came on for a second, but that was it. i tested the ground to the pump, which was good. But i put a test light on the positive and there was no power going to it. wtf is wrong with this thing?????????????????

i recently bought an f4i that had the same problem, fuel pump wouldnt initially turn on and it wouldnt even try to turn over, my problem was the kill switch was broke, somthing i completely overlooked. If you have a multimeter, you can check the resistance of the kill switch in both positions, one should read open and the other, a ver ysmall resistance, if it doesnt, theres your problem. Im new so the only advice i can give you is that, im sure there are several people that know more than me but that was my problem. Good luck
