Hey Guys,

Question for ya:

Is it possible to remove the middle fairings on both sides, without revmoving the lower fairings and upper ? I feel like an idiot. I even read through the official 2006 Service Manual I just got yesterday...and it is still not clear whether I can just remove the middle fairings without messing with the others.

The reason I need to remove them is to install some flushmounts...and when I saw all the screws etc...I just thought I would figure this out before tearing off everything at once.

Any advice appreciated

I have removed the mid cowl on my 06 a few times without removing the lower or upper cowl.
