My F2's clutch has been slipping lately and I'm going to tear into it to hopefully find the problem or replace the plates. Does anybody know the minimum thickness that the friction plates and especially the steel plates can be? In addition, what is the range for the free length of the clutch springs? I have the Honda common and F2 manuals from online, but they don't say jack about any specific numbers. Or if you know that they give the numbers, could you tell me where in the manual it has that info? On that note, has anyone here had better luck with Kevlar plates as opposed to the regular fiber ones?
