has anyone had any trouble with their spark unit? my 1 and 2 cylinder is gettin a spark but my 3 and 4 aren't gettin a very good one. plugs are good and i believe so are the coils so that leads me to the spark unit. my bike is a '87 1000, are there any other years that used the same spark unit. or do you think im way off and there is some other problem. any info will help.

If you are still getting some spark to the other coil than I would say the coil is on it way out.

swap the coils around and see if its the same.
