Ok, I know that this would be a stupid question, but would it be possible to fit a 1000cc RR engine from a 2004 1000 RR into a 2004 600RR frame? I don't think so because the frames are completely different, but could it if there's a small possibility? I mean is the engine between the two that much different in size/dimentions to not be that totally off? I've been looking at some of the pics and some diagrams to see that they look the same size, but I have no way of telling if they'll mount up correctly.

Reason why I'm asking is that two months ago, I ****ed up 600 engine near the stator and I don't think I can fix the engine block (small chip off the block) without having gasket and oil leak problems in the future. Now if I can just bolt on a 1000cc engine on the 600, it would be a neat little project and I also found a 1000cc engine for less than a grand.

My guess would be no considering they make these for racing and try to take up every ounce of space and shave any thing they don't need off. And i personally don't think they would leave enough room (400 cubic centimeters) for a litre engine.

yeah, I looked into it more and it would cost too much to modify the frame correctly to do it. So... I've just decided to part out my RR.
