I've been searching for 06 CBR 1000 exhaust sounds and pics and can't find much. I love the look of the stock exhaust and a lot of the aftermarket can don't match up in looks to stock. I want the meanest sound, the most horsepower, with something that looks close to stock look. Anyone know of good sound files out there? I found this micron pic and I like the look, but don't know crap about 1000RR exhaust options yet.
I had a Vance and Hines on my 600 and its sound blows away the sound of a stock exhaust on my 1000. I sold the 600 and have money burning a hole in my pocket, haha.

Sorry to disagree with you, dude, but I've got a Micron twin outlet and that thing is NOT quiet.

If you want loud and a deep throaty sound. Hands down the Jardine. I have a Jardine RT-One slip on and its ungodly loud. Also looks nice too.

Damn, Nice sound board. They all sound pretty screaming on the dyno run.
I assume that was a litre bike? They ones i checked so far sound pretty good.
The Jardine does scream. The Yosh does, too. So, does 2 Bros.
I guess they all sound pretty sweet.
I think some other threads talk about the HP gains. Since I'm not pegging it to redline on
the city streets, it'd probably be best to look for one that boosts mid-range.
I guess I'll wait and see how the Jardine twin outlet looks when it comes out, too.

Thanks for the input.

What do you guys think of this one? D&D exhaust.
Sounds badarse to me.
Plus they claim it gives 5 HP for midrange. Looks like this is what I want.
I think its up over $500-600 for a slip-on, though.

Hey for what it is worth i bought a Arrow Slip on for my of 1k it has a really good tone to it. A buddy of mine put on an Arata on his 05 and seems to think that his may be more throaty but the arrow is def. Louder.
