hey ladies/gents,

hope everybody's doing well; about to upgrade to a pair of fuller boots (wearing my old sand/street boots right now; great for protection against a 2 stroke dirt but maybe not so good for montreal sweepers!) divided between the new alpinestar SMX-4 or the full out R version.

Needs - mostly street time (but high speed sweepers) with possibly some track thrown in.
Dilemma - never worn 'race'boots while riding so not so certain as to discomfort or other things that only come from experience

Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated. cheers
