Sorry if this has been asked or if its dumb but im hearing different things.If i change ANY of my sprockets do i need a new chain? Also if i was to put a 15 in the front and a 41 in the back what type chain do i need?

what bike do you have. And you dont necessarilly HAVE TO change your chain, just as long as you keep the same size sprockets in width and space between teeth, I dont mean the number of teeth.

It is a good idea to change your chain along with it though, unless you have a pretty good chain.

I'm might be a little compulsive, but I change chain and sprockets together. I know a new chain isn't cheap, but it's worth the cost for my obsessive peace of mind. A new chain/sprocket combination will last a LONG time if you keep it cleaned, lubed, and adjusted. Just my opinion, sorry if I confused the issue.
