So these are the tires that come stock on the '05-'06 1000RR. How do these tires rate in the grand scheme of things, are they decent tires?

They are really good, the Aussie journo's are really impressed with them. I am on my second set. They do need warming up before getting on the gas though! In Australia they very expensive. The local tyre shops say the michelin pilot powers are just as good and far cheaper. Anyone else got any thoughts! Do the the pilots last longer?

I am running the new Dunlop Qualifier on my 05 1000rr. I had pilots once, not anymore. These dunlop's rock over the pilots. The ONLY drawback to the dunlop's is tire wear is a bit faster over the michelin's. But warm up time and leaving a bigger foot print in the corner, the dunlop is a great tire.

Dunlop Qualifier?? do you have the tyre other names for example D208RR or D208GP or D209RR or D209GP?? neway..pirelli corsa is good on the road bit nt too good on the track..for extreme performance and nt minding the mileage, i recommend Pirelli Supercosa Pro!! This tyres rocks!! It lasts me bout 5 months only thou inclusive of 5 track days..
