I just bought my 1000F -90 driven 113000 km and it beats my old Yamaha 1100 in all ways. Only bad thing is the difficulty to drive under 100 Km/hour. Allthough there has become 3000 km to my bike after 19.4.

Nice drivings to you all.

Bought my '94 with 44k miles in April. Have put on another 400, great bike, great shape, hope to do over 100k.

I met the original owner, he was very sharp, changed the oil every 2k with synthetic.

Cheers.

I bought my 87 two weeks ago, it says 23,000 miles. It does not run yet. I sat up for a year or so. I have cleaned the carbs, now she revs but boggs in the low end. Also the clutch was almost dry and I think it is bad or I need to bleed it I'm not a clutch man. I will buy the rebuild kits (carb and clutch)if needed, and try to finish her. I worked at Dallas Honda around 90 and used to sit on one just like this one. Silver and blue. Can't wait to get her running. Getting the cleaning of her life now, LOL.

I wish I realised the poll topics couldn't be edited... oh well, it seems the *vast* majority of members at this forum are American and work with miles and I feel like a fool.

I am only the 2nd owner of mine.

My FT has done just under 38000 now (well it did belong to Derbyshire police before me ) that's approx 61160 km

Still going strong!
