What Up,
Im new to the whole bike thing. Ive been doing mad research trying to figure out what I want. A bike is all I been thinkin bout the past few days. the Honda CBR 600RR is the bike I WILL be getting. I went to the dealership today and sat on a few of the bikes and the Honda felt the best out of all of them compared to Yamaha and Suzuki. Basically I love the bike However The 2005 doesnt really come in a nice variety of colors and I noticed that the 04 comes in a nice candy blue color that I would perfer over the tribal black. So guys im wondering what if any are the big style and performance differences between the two different models. So i can decide which to go with. Also does anyone know if the body style for 06 will change dramatically? Anyone know of any place where I can see a pic of the '06? Thanks Guys i know its alot of questions but any help would greatly be appreciated.
Holla back

I dont think even Honda has pictures of the actual 2006 model..I am sure there are drawings and such...
There is a BIG ENOUGH difference between the two..1st: the 2005 has INVERTED FORKS and RADIAL MOUNTED brake calipers. 2nd: There is a 14 lb weight difference ( the 05 weighs less than the 04) the body is also different...YOu can probally get a better deal on a 04 I would imagine..
If you are starting out either one is gonna be AWESOME..so get what you like

Bike painting varies widely... the stock stuff is harder to deal with than aftermarket fiberglass. The stock body is actual ABS PLASTIC and removing the decals is a pain in the ass!! The tank decals are clear coated over and have to be sanded off.

If your new to the bike thing you would not notice the changes in the 05' over the 04'. I have a 04' and love it. Chose the bike that YOU like! The blue RR is sweeet! but I chose the black/silver and I pinstripped it in red like Zemke's old 600rr. In the end you can't go wrong with either bike. Good luck on your purchase!

Where did you get the striping from? I'm looking to get red striping for my rims (like the '05 yamaha R1)

^^^SICKEST bike on the market right there... Raven all the way.

You can use any pinstriping found at like lowes or home depot I think... Or a autobody shop...

I ordered bronze pinstriping from ebay for my wheels...
