Hi Everyone, I'm glad to be in the RIGHT place for info. I'm looking to buy a CBR929 ..any advice on price, quirks on year...general tips when I look? All help is greatly appreciated!

These bikes are great, the first of the FUEL INJECTED HONDA's I believe..I dont know of any real failures but have heard that the exhaust valve can be a bit noisy... and be aware of the different widths of each side of the swingarm if you try to put it on a rear stand...get a PITBULL rear stand and the 929 shim and it will sit level for you

If you're experienced and ready (MSF), then try to get the last year out "2001". Oh yeah...hold the hell on!!!

uh yeah, i never touched a motorcycle, know how to ride a motorcycle... until MSF. my first bike is a used 2001 929 RR. VERY fast bike, a little big for me, considering i'm only 5'3! LMAO!! Its a nice bike.... period. ALthough i'll probably go down to a 600 RR, we don't need to much power unless you're all about the speed racing suicidal crazy Sh!t.

oh PLEASE email me..I found my dream bike and got my heart broken..I'm 5.2 and I was HEARTBROKEN!!! I was told that I was not going to be able to lower it enough for me to ride....I'm getting conflicting opinions..... MY email address is NYCHoneyrican@yahoo.com
