I am not sure how many horses the 1000rr puts out stock but just by ridding it and getting on my 01 gsxr1k I know I need more work. Looking to retire the zux. What can I get from you guys for more horse power. I need package deals. What do you do that I cant get done at Lees? There simply has not been any effort on the part of 1000 owners to do any serious performance mods to these bikes. Getting it to the point of retiring your Zuk will be a challenge. I would start with cams, and a pipe, and a custom map and see how that compares with your Suzuki.

Thanks Jay. I had someone send me a set up they use. Full Akcroprovic evolution system, pc3r, bmc air filter. 168 claimed at the rear wheel. How much better would i be doing with the cams?

A-tech intake
k&n filters
Flapper Mod
Pair Mod

Thats the stuff I have on my 06... What about a head gasket or milling the head some to get a little more compresion out of the motor (but still want to stay on pump gas). How about a good port and polish job, and a cam. I could get some more out of that, and you guys do all the work @ your new place. I'm in Palmdale, so I'm not that far. Could you give me a estimate about how much $$$, and how much time, and power I should be putting down with these upgrades.
