I put on a new screen from puig on my 02 954 and it doesn't seem to fit right, all the holes seems to line up but there is a space betweend the plastic and the screen in 2 places towards the bottom, I was wondering if anyone has this screen and how it fits? Is it flush.

The space seems to be consistent on both sides on the bottom, from the very low bolt to the 2 bolts on the sides.

thanks

Not just on the 954 either, I have bought the smoked double bubble for my 06 1000 RR and it has a 4mm gap all around the bottom. I think it's b#@@$%^* . Puig think it is an acceptable tollerance, the local rep is gonna get it back right where it fits best!

I had the same problem also. Had to torque it a little to get it to fit.

I had a gap on my 929. I would suggest removing the rubber mounts from the aftermarket screen and attaching the mounts to the rear of the shield. The stock shield mounting holes have an inset mounting hole to account for the rubber grommet. Putting the rubber behind the shield lined up everything for me. I'm betting the 954 Puig screens may have the same issue.
