Hi,

I have been browsing the web for exhaust system for my '05 CBR600RR, I don't know much about this. However I understand that the Honda exhaust system is that good, that if I want louder sound I should just by "slip-on" and this is the one I have been recomended to buy Two Brothers slip-on exhaust

Is this good, or what do you guys recomend?

Thanks, Ragnar

if you just want sound a slip-on is fine, two brothers makes a good pipe, for looks and sound
ridersinc is a great site too, great prices and service

however, the stock exhaust IS heavy and constricting so a full system would give a fairly big boost in power

Slip on would be great. Just do some searching for exhaust and you will find all kinds of opinions and write ups. Many choices.

the M2 is a vertical oval, and the M5 is a horizontal oval. they are the same size. just depends on what you want it to look like. I personaly want the M5 cause i think the horizontal will look better. but thats just me.

I have the 2bros you listed... freaking love it. The difference is the size of the outside of the can. The bigger number means a fatter can. I have the M2h in the first link and it fits and sounds great. Check out my gallery.

I just put on a Micron Slip on exhaust on my 05 CBR 600rr. I was wondering if I need to keep on the heat shield so the heat from the pipe won't burn the plastic and other parts underneath. I would like to take it off b/c it is pretty bulky, but I didn't want to take it off without asking someone first. Any info would help. Thanks

I have the Leo Vince Slip on and I love it!!! The only thing I don't like is when your on a freeway trip it echo's in your head around 80+ because its just loud. I know a few ppl that have the Leo and love it as well. I don't have my heat shield on either and I haven't had any problems.

I have heard the Two Brothers are really loud and people have backed off of them because of that. Everyone and the mother has Yoshi pipes, I am still trying to figure out which way I am going also.
