Hey whats up,
Im a newbie and I am looking for a first bike. I was wondering would and F2 be a good starter bike? I have minimal bike experiance and I am looking for a good bike to learn on. I have found a 91 cbr 600f2 for fairly cheap in the area, only thing I could find here. Its winter here almost so Im not going to be riding it much and I plan to take the beginner course from msf in the spring. So Im just wondering if the F2 would be a good first bike. TIA

Hi and welcome to the boards. The F2 is actually a really good bike for a beginner. As long as you have some brains and common sence you will be allright. A 250cc bike can kill you as fast as a 600cc. Just be smart with it. Before you ride at all, make sure you take the MSF class and get some good riding gear. Once you have passed the class and have your gear then get some good practice time on the bike. I started on an old 600cc myself. Welcome to the addiction.

Hey,
Thanks for the input. I have been checking out tons and tons of gear and am ready to drop some serious money on the good stuff. Cause I have seen some people get some bad road rash and i would rather use the money to pay for some gear than a hospital bill. I live in Colorado near Denver.
