Finally got a pic of my DYMAG wheels mounted on my REPSOL, for anyone that cares to see what they look like. They came powder coated, with cush drive, and Talon aluminum rear sprocket. Rear wheel weight reduction was almost 5.5 lbs., front wheel was barely over 1lb.

Thanks for the comps gentlemen. Hey quans, those 20 spokes are pretty trick looking, plus I've read that the PVM wheels are awesome. What is the material, weight difference? I don't know if you read all the posts, on that other site, but I WAS somewhat disappointed with the lack of weight savings with mine, being cast mag and all.

JCF, I looked at the Marchesini wheels but they came in at the same price as my Dymags and the Dymags were already coated in the orange. The color is not the same as the stock wheels, real damn close though, but they seem to match the fairing color a little better than the stockers. Post some pics up when you do make the move to your new wheels.

I do like the Dymag 7 spoke...........do they make them in repsol orange? Oncycles site says they don't offer Dymags for the 1000rr. That's impossible though since you got em. Is there site misinforming or what ?

Maybe what the ONCYCLE site is saying is that they don't have them in stock. The wheels are definitely made for the RR, did you check out DYMAG's site. I spoke to a guy by the name of Chris Calovini at ONCYCLES, he was VERY helpful. I also e-mailed DYMAG directly and explained to them that I was interested in purchasing their wheels, through ONCYCLES, and they sent me a color chart showing what colors are available for ALL of their wheels. I'm in NC and the color chart came in like...2 days.

I was real torn between the 5 and 7 spoke, I just like the broader spoke of the 5. I would give Chris a call about the application and availability for the 7 spokes.....by the way, you can change your gearing also when you order the wheels. I opted to stick with the 41 tooth sprocket but you can spec whichever size you want. Hope I helped you out, let me know if I can answer any other questions about the experience....Good luck with your decision

Welcome in BR. I changed the rims because I like the look better than the stock wheels and they do save some unsprung weight. The rear wheel was around 5.5.lbs lighter than stock, while the front wheel was only around 1lb. As far as cost, forget it, you can buy almost 3 sets of the stock wheels compared to these. The front wheel cost is around $900 and the rear, $1200
