not familiar with any kind of vacuum trick. there is no way to remove the drain plug without draining the oil. just wait until your next oil change and swap them out.

vacume trick.. i needed the change the oil in the rear end of my car and well there was no drain plug. so i needed to drill a hole. to keep oil from leaking all over me why i drilled i took my wheel and brake off of one side of my axle. then i got a vacume and i made enough of a seal but not to much of a seal so that when i drilled the hole the vacume created a vacume and no oil leaked out. but you have to find that fine line, where it doesn't leak but to where the vacume wont suck any oil in either. i've gotten a vacume full of oil on other projects.. my dad showed me this trick.

Got it in the mail today, Tim! Fast shipping -- I like that Also impressed with the magnet in that bugger -- stuck it to the tool box through the plastic wrapper ... not too shabby.

Thanks dude!

I got mine today. For some reason I missed that these plugs where from Honda. Discovering that leads me to ask why Honda doesn’t install them on their bikes?

The possibility is always there. Post here if you are interested and if there are enough people, we will start up a new group buy.

Thanks!

The plugs are not OEM. They are highly modified Honda plugs. Honda should take a hint, but they are always looking for ways to cut cost and this is one of them.

Industry experts have told me these should be in every vehicle, but for now it is up to individual owners to get them from their vehicles.

We have some oil analysis from different engines on the way to show before and after effects of magnetic drain plugs. It should be done in a couple months.

Thanks!
Tim
