Didnt want to spend the $$ on a highmount exhaust so I made my own and powdercoated it to match the bike....... Check it out

Definitely not feeling all that tape heat shielding but good work on making something yourself. That's something to be proud of.

Yea I would have liked to go chrome or something but its a major PITA to grind all the welds down perfectly smooth to have that done. The heat wrap works out nicely though because it keeps the heat in the pipe and not burning your legs or your passengers legs. I still have to seal it though. when you spray the sealer on it all turns black so it will probably look better then. I am just waiting for the sealer to come in.

It sounds amazing though. its really deep and its fairly quiet in the upper rpms. I will try and get a sound clip up as soon as it stops raining around here

Thanks man!! its sort of just a thing with me. everything I do ends up in those colors

Thats my old quad. basicly the inspiration behind the colors

yeah, If it were black it would look a whole lot better. you'd better post a pic when that is done too.
